Patron Saint's Day in Maribor

On Sunday of All Saints, Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb-Ljubljana served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Maribor with the concelebration of protohead Milenko Popovic, presbyter Sava Kosojevic parish priest and deacon Aleksandar Obradovic. The national TV of Slovenia for the first time had a live broadcast of the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy.

Transfer of the relics of martyrs of Surdulica and consecration of Memorial ossuary (1924-2010) in Surdulica

Magnificent transfer of the relics of the martyrs of Surdulica rom the First World War in the renovated Memorial ossuary in Surdulica, was enhanced by series of spiritual and cultural manifestations. The central event of the transfer of the Surdulica martyrs was a service in the St. George church in Surdulica on May 29,2010.  Upon the invitation of the Bishop Pahomije of Vranje, the celebration was attended by the envoy of His Holiness IRINEJ, Serbian Patriarch and the Holy Synod of Bishops, His Grace Bishop Ignjatije of Branichevo. The service in the St. George church began with the memorial service to the martyrs of Surdulica, and after that the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served.

The Holy liturgy was served by Bishops Ignjatije and Pahomije, with the concelebration of priests and monks of the Diocese of Vranje.

Consecration of the church in Bradina near Konjic

On May 25, 2010 on the third day of the feast day of the Descent of the Holy Spirit on Apostles in the village of Bradina near Konjic the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served and a consecration of the restored church of Holy Ascension of the Lord as well as the memorial service on the anniversary of the suffering of the Serbs of this village in the last war in 1992. The Holy Liturgy was served by Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina with the concelebration of twelf priests and one deacon.

Church consecrated in Buljim

His Grace Bishop Vasilije of Zvornik-Tuzla consecrated on May 24, 2010 a newly built church of Holy Trinity in Buljim. Bishop Vasilije was concelebrated by hierarchal head of Zvornik protopresbyter-staurophor Vidoje Lukic, protohead Boro Todic and protodeacon Slavoljub Milosevic.

Serbs and the Serbian Church being lynched by media

We consider we should address our believers and inform them about  events that constantly repeat in certain Croatian media, and they are connected with territories where Serbs suffered the most in the last war. The last event that has made us to address the public has been an ultranationalist attack on Mr. Dusan Torbica, a donator of the St. Nicholas church in Kistanje, in the newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija on May 24, 2010.
