Celebration of Synaxis of St. John the Baptist in Novi Sad

On the feast day of the Synaxis of the St. John, the Prophet, the Forerunner and the Baptist at the Church of St. Greatmartyr George in Novi Sad, His Grace Irinej of Bachka served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of His Beatitude Archbishop Jovan of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje and Their Graces Bishops Pahomije of Vranje and Porfirije of Jegar.

Epiphany at Djurdjevi Stupovi monastery near Berane

On the feast of Epiphany, January 19, 2010  His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje and Niksic served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with priests at the Djurdjevi Stupovi monastery near Berane. During the service a great number of the faithful received the Sacrament, and afterwards there was the sanctifying of Epiphany water.

Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Brcko

Bishop Vasilije of Zvornik and Tuzla served on the feast day of Sts. martyrs Theopemptus and Theona - Feast of Holy Cross, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the church of St. Greatmartyr Kyriaki in Brcko.

His Grace served with the concelebration of protopresbyter-staurophor Branko Djuric, protopresbyter Miodrag Tosic, protodeacon Slavoljub Milosevic and deacon Velibor Simic.

Two centuries of St. Nicholas in Kotor

His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral and Archbishop of Cetinje , Locum tenens of the throne of the Serbian patriarchs, served on January 16, 2010 a Holy service of God at the church of St. Nicholas in Kotor, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of its construction and the 100th anniversary of its restoration.

Bishop Maxim in Denver, Colorado

On Sunday, January 10, 2010, on the Sunday of the Holy Fathers and the day we commemorate the Holy 20,000 Maryrs of Nicomedia, His Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America made an archpastoral visit to the parish of St. John the Baptist in the state of Colorado. This visit was made all the more festive and significant since His Grace, the bishop, was greeted by the faithful from two Orthodox parishes, St. John's and St. Herman of Alaska (OCA).
