Patron Saint-day of the church and ordination in Cleveland

On Sunday, January 31, 2021, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served in the Church of St. Sava in Cleveland, which solemnly marked the Patron Saint-day of this holy temple.

His Grace Bishop Longin of Nova Gracanica-Midwest America officiated the Liturgy.  The Bishop was concelebrated by archimandrite Leontije (Alavanja), the head of the church; archpriest Mile Matic, archdeacon Ljubisa Mitrovic and Deacon Miljan Aleksic, the clergyman of the Diocese of Western America.

During the service, with the blessing of Bishop Maxim of Western America, deacon Miljan Aleksic was ordained to the priesthood. Towards the end of the service, the slava cake was blessed, and Bishop Longin congratulated the parishioners on their Patron Saint-day and the ordination to the new pastor in the Lord's field:

His Grace Bishop Longin on this occasion  visited the monastery of St. Mark and its abbot, Archimandrite Leontije, an authentic representative of Serbian monasticism.
