Serbian Orthodox Seminary at Krka Monastery
By the decision of the Holy Synod of Bishops in May 2001 the Serbian Orthodox Seminary “Holy Three Hierarchs” began to work again at Krka monastery. That year the Seminary had only one class and 12 students. Today the Seminary has progressed. It has 9 lecturers who teach the faith of Christ and three classes with 40 full-time and 10 part-time students. Bishop Fotije of Dalmatia is at the same time the rector of the Seminary.
The Seminary “Holy Three Hierarchs” at Krka monastery is the oldest seminary. Metropolitan Teodor of Dabrobosna founded it in 1615, which seat was then at Rtanj monastery.
