His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received yesterday on November 3, 2011 in the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade a delegation of the members of the German Bundestag. The reception was attended by His Excellency Wolfram Mass, the ambassador of the Republic of Germany, and His Grace Vicar Bishop Andrej of Remesiana.
The circle of the Serbian sisters "Mother of Jugovic" from Blacktown, modestly but solemnly was celebrated St. Petka, its patroness and protector.
The Holy Liturgy was served in an usual time and mostly sisters were present who also partook the Holy Communion. Since this time the feast day of St. Petka was on the workin day, a rite of cutting the slava cake was done in the evening, and it followed the vigil service. The vigil was served by protopresbyter-staurophor Nikola Bilic and parish deacon Nemanja Mrdjenovic.

In the organization of the Pedagogical and cathehist institute of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Belgrade yesterday a round table was held on the theme The tenth anniversary of re-introduction of the religious education in schools in Serbia. In the work of the round table following participants took part: Bishop Dr Irinej of Backa, Serbian Mufti of the Islamic Community of Serbia Muhamed Jusufspahic, Belgrade's Rabi Isak Asijel, Vinko Maslach - representative of the Roman Catholic church in the absence of Belgrade archbishop Mr. Stanislav Hocevar, and professor Dr Bogoljub Sijakovic, the state secretary in the Ministry for faith and diaspora.
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch attended yesterday at the City Assembly of the City of Belgrade the celebration of 125th anniversary of the Belgrade's New Cemetary.
