His Holiness Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije participated in a voluntary blood donation campaign on 9 February 2025, at the Parish House of the Church of Saint Sava on Vračar.
 
– There is no greater joy or blessing than when someone can give something of themselves to their neighbors. Giving is a response to God’s love and gratitude for all that He has given us and continues to do for us. Thus, donating blood and caring for the health of our neighbors, as well as giving anything that helps them, is at the same time a confirmation of God’s love for them – something that is absolutely and entirely in the spirit of the Gospel and the faith of the Church of God – said His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije, calling on the faithful to take part in this humanitarian initiative, which was held throughout the day in several churches across Belgrade. Joining the voluntary blood donation campaign was also His Grace Bishop of Toplica kyr Petar, coordinator of the Religious Charitable Guardianship.
