On Sunday, 2 October 2022, the festive act of canonization of Saint Irinej, bishop of Bačka, confessor of faith, and holy martyrs of Bačka, who were added to the diptychs of saints of our Church at this year’s regular meeting of the Holy Assembly of Bishops, will be performed at the holy Hierarchical Liturgy which will be served by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije in the Cathedral church in Novi Sad at 9:00 AM, with the participation of Hierarchs from the homeland, as well as Bishops and clergy from sister local churches.

The ceremonial welcome of the Serbian Patriarch and other Hierarchs will take place at 8:30 AM.

The Diocese of Bačka invites the clergy, monastics and the faithful to prayerfully participate in the festive liturgical gathering on the occasion of the canonization of the saints of our Holy Church who have recently shown forth.
