The day prior to the prayerful commemoration of those who lost their lives in Operation Storm, His Holiness Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije met with the presidents of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska at the Osovica Monastery near Srbac, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop of Banja Luka kyr Jefrem. During the meeting His Holiness had the opportunity to hear about the challenges facing the Serbian people.

– We agreed that all efforts should be invested in preserving peace and fostering understanding among people and nations. It was emphasized that it is essential for the Republic of Serbia to continue providing comprehensive assistance to the Republic of Srpska and our people. We extend great gratitude to His Grace Bishop of Banja Luka kyr Jefrem for his Abrahamic hospitality and paternal advice – Patriarch Porfirije stated for the Information Service of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
