Patriarch Porfirije met with Metropolitan of Kemerovo and Prokopyevsk kyr Aristarch
His Holiness Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije, together with His Grace Bishop of Valjevo kyr Isihije, received His Eminence Metropolitan of Kemerovo and Prokopyevsk kyr Aristarch at the See of the Patriarchate in Belgrade, on 7 October 2025.
Metropolitan Aristarch, who is on a several-day visit to the Diocese of Valjevo, expressed his wish to receive the archpastoral blessing and prayers of His Holiness the Patriarch for the clergy and faithful entrusted to his care, and also to convey expressions of brotherly love and prayerful fellowship from the faithful of the Russian Orthodox Church toward the Pleroma of the Church of Saint Sava. During his stay in our country and his visit to the Serbian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Aristarch also intended to visit the Diocese of Srem.
The reception was attended by Protopresbyter Đorđe Stojisavljević, Head of the Cabinet of the Serbian Patriarch; Protopresbyter Dimitry Moshkin; Priest Andrey Moyarenko; and Priest Jovan Pavlyuk, personal secretary to Metropolitan Aristarch.
