His Holiness Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije took part on 16 December 2025 in a public discussion organized by the Center for International Cooperation and Sustainable Development (CIRSD) on the occasion of the visit of one of the world’s most distinguished economists, Jeffrey Sachs, Professor at Columbia University in New York. The discussion was held as part of the promotion of the new issue of the journal Horizons, entitled “The Asia-Pacific Century.”
 
The discussion, devoted to contemporary global geopolitical and economic topics and moderated by the President of CIRSD and Editor-in-Chief of Horizons, Mr. Vuk Jeremić, was attended by Mr. Li Ming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China; Mr. Aleksandar Botsan-Kharchenko, Ambassador of the Russian Federation; and Mr. Osvaldo Narciso Marchisio, Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina, as well as numerous representatives of the diplomatic corps and of political, business, and academic circles.
