The working part of the meeting of the highest hierarchical, ecclesiastical–legislative, and ecclesiastical–judicial body of the Serbian Orthodox Church, under the presidency of His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije, and with the participation of Their Eminences and Their Graces Diocesan Bishops, began on 15 May 2023, in the crypt of the Holy Great Martyr Prince Lazar of the Church of Saint Sava on Vračar.

Following the procedure stipulated by the Rules of Procedure, the meeting commences with the adoption of the agenda, which consists of the received subjects delivered by the Holy Synod of Bishops, and continues with the consideration of reports on the archpastoral work of all diocesan Hierarchs, central church bodies, organs, and institutions. At the end of the meeting, the Assembly will issue a communique about its work.
