In response to the requests of the faithful people, His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije, with the consent of His Grace Bishop of Valjevo kyr Isihije, has decided that the relics of Saint Bishop Nikolaj will remain in the Memorial Church of Saint Sava until Sunday, 4 June 2023, when the Orthodox Church celebrates the Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles.

The blessing of His Holiness Patriarch kyr Porfirije also includes the daily celebration of Matins and Divine Liturgy in the Memorial Church of Saint Sava in the morning until the feast of Pentecost, and in the evening, Vespers and the Service of Supplication to Saint Nikolaj of Serbia.
