On 24 May 2026, His Holiness Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije sent a congratulatory message to His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia kyr Kirill on the Feast of Saint Cyril Equal-to-the-Apostles, the name day of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, in which, among other things, it is stated:
 
Your Holiness, dear brother and concelebrant in Christ,
 
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! (Rom. 1:7)
 
We cordially congratulate You on the feast of Your heavenly patron – Saint Cyril Equal-to-the-Apostles – the Christ-glorified enlightener of the Slavic lands. May the Lord, through the prayers of His wonderful servant Saint Cyril, bestow upon You an abundance of blessings, spiritual and bodily strength, and wisdom, so that through Your ministry and personal witness of faith You may glorify His all-beloved Name for many blessed years to come!
