On 1 December 2022, on the feast day of the Holy Martyr Planton and the Holy Martyrs Roman and Barulas the Youth, the meetings of the Holy Synod of Bishops and the Patriarchal Administrative Board were held in the Patriarchal Palace, the summer residence of the Serbian Patriarchs in Dalj.

His Grace Bishop of Osečko Polje and Baranja kyr Heruvim warmly welcomed His Holiness Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije and the members of the Holy Synod of Bishops: His Eminence Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral kyr Joanikije and Their Graces Bishops: Vasilije of Srem, Irinej of Bačka and Fotije of Zvornik-Tuzla; together with the Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod of Bishops, Archimandrite Nektarije (Đurić), and the Director of the Patriarchal Administrative Office, Archimandrite Danilo (Gavranović).

At the meetings, presided over by His Holiness the Patriarch, important ongoing issues from the life of the Serbian Orthodox Church have been considered.

Afterward, the Patriarch and members of the Holy Synod of Bishops visited the birthplace of the renowned Serbian scientist Milutin Milanković and the Cathedral Church of the Holy Great-Martyr Demetrius in Dalj, in the company of Bishop Heruvim, Dr. Vojislav Stanimirović and Mr. Jugoslav Vesić, head of Erdut Municipality.
