Meeting between Patriarch Porfirije and Archbishop Stefan

At the invitation of His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije, on the occasion of the third anniversary of his election as the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia kyr Stefan paid a two-day visit to Belgrade.

Accompanying the Archbishop were members of the working board of the Holy Synod of Bishops: His Eminence Metropolitan of Prespa and Pelagonia and Administrator of Australia-New Zealand kyr Petar, and His Eminence Metropolitan of Debar-Kičevo and Administrator of Australia-Sydney kyr Timotej, as well as the Secretary of the Holy Synod His Grace Bishop of Herakleia kyr Kliment. This meeting was also attended by His Grace Bishop of Bačka kyr Irinej – member of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and Archimandrite Nektarije (Đurić) – Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The visitation took place in a friendly, fraternal atmosphere, with special attention given to current developments in the Pan-Orthodox world.
