A regular meeting of the Plenum of the Patriarchal Administrative Board was held at the See of the Patriarchate in Belgrade on 24 April 2024, chaired by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije, with the participation of His Eminence Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral kyr Joanikije, and His Grace Bishop of Upper Karlovac kyr Gerasim.

The meeting was preceded by the invocation of the Holy Spirit, which was served in the Patriarchate Chapel of Saint Simeon the Myrrh-Gusher by His Grace Bishop of Jegar kyr Nektarije, the Vicar of the Serbian Patriarch, with the concelebration of Archimandrite Mihajlo (Biković) from the Diocese of Valjevo, Protopresbyter Vladan Simić from the Diocese of Bačka, and Deacon Nikola Kostić, an official of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch.

During the meeting, regular annual reports and new business plans of the patriarchal bodies under the jurisdiction of the Patriarchal Administrative Board were adopted. This year's meeting of the Plenum of the Patriarchal Administrative Board is the last regular meeting of this body elected by the Holy Assembly of Bishops for the mandate period 2019-2024. Patriarch Porfirije expressed his gratitude, with the words of paternal love and respect, to all the members of this Plenum whose mandate has terminated for the love and dedication they showed by participating in the work of this ecclesiastical body, expressing a prayerful wish that the new convocation will continue to contribute to the life and progress of our holy Church.
