The Serbian Orthodox Church has preserved the Serbian people in the most difficult times both biologically and in terms of culture and education, the document states, emphasizing that the All-Serbian Assembly recognizes the Serbian Orthodox Church as one of the pillars of the national, cultural, and spiritual identity of the Serbian people and calls for closer cooperation between ecclesiastical and state authorities on key issues such as preserving traditional Christian values, and preserving the sanctity of marriage and family.
