Serbian Patriarch Porfirije served at the Cathedral Church in Belgrade
His Holiness Serbian Patriarch kyr Porfirije served on 9 June 2024, on the Sunday of the Blind Man, the holy Hierarchical Liturgy at the Cathedral Church in Belgrade.
– Passing through impassable situations, trials, adversities, and difficulties, let us not seek the culprit, but let us fight against our temptation and inclination that someone must be punished to establish justice. We should have humility and patience to await the Lord's revelation, Who, precisely because we had patience and humility, will give us an answer to our perplexity. That patience and humility are nothing but inner healing that makes us capable of penetrating into the mysteries that cannot be understood by logic and the rules of this world – Patriarch Porfirije emphasized, whose entire sermon in Serbian you can read HERE.
Concelebrating with His Holiness the Patriarch there were Their Graces Bishops: Sava of Marča, Nektarije of Jegar – Elected Bishop of Britain and Ireland, and Dositej of Lipljan; Protopresbyter Slaviša Popović and priests Arsen Milovanović and Goran Nuhanović; Protodeacons Dragan Radić, Radomir Vrućinić, and Damjan Božić; Deacons Nikolaj Vuković and Lazar Simić; with the prayerful participation of His Grace Retired Bishop of Mileševa kyr Filaret.
